Dan had a great sense of humor and was clearly very knowledgeable about organic chemistry. I found all of his drawings and analogies to be super helpful.
Pretty amazing. He breaks down chemistry in terms that allows you to remember the material. He's very flexible in scheduling sessions and very easy to get along with. I wish he was my professor!
Dan responds to emails very quickly and is flexible about time and meeting places. In only two meetings, he essentially reorganized my way of approaching organic chemistry problems, which made a huge difference on my final exam. In short, Dan is awesome!
He's the best tutor I've ever had. With his teaching methods, I learned the material better. Because of him I'm ready for the new quarter with some new infortmation.
He was very approachable and provided a lot of encouragement. Always wanted to do his best to help.
Very worthwhile. Dan is concise, patient, relaxed and incredibly smart. Helped me to understand the concepts myself without doing the work for me. A great guide through the land of chemistry!
Dan is nothing but a pleasure to work with. Having never taken chemistry--not even in high school--approaching the subject was like navigating a distant country with a foreign language and a new alphabet, with no dictionary, thesaurus, or map. However, Dan was able to make the subject matter clear, interesting, and engaging. And despite my intransigence, Dan never gave up on me, and helped me get through material that was a hell of a struggle. So five stars, two very enthusiastic thumbs up, and a big thank you to Dan! I couldn't have wished for a better tutor.
