ExperienceI have been working in molecular biology field for 20 years doing different kind of molecular biology research. Part of my work included training of students and new employees.
Since 2008 I have been working as certified high school biology teacher in one of Philadelphia charter school.
Earlier in my carrier in Russia, I was working as teaching assistant at Physiology Department of 1st Moscow Medical Institute, where I taught medical school students in group setting and individually.
About Russian language : I am native Russian speaker with excellent knowledge of Russian grammar and deep knowledge of Russian literature and poetry of 19th and 20 st centuries.
HobbiesI am a multicultural person with wide interests and deep professional knowledges. Born in Soviet Union, living through the Perestroika in Russia, moving to USA in order to continue with my profession ( molecular biology), I learned and benefited from all the realities of my life.
I can say with pride that I am a decent scientific researcher, a teacher, a mother of three and a wife. I have a few hobbies of my life - literature, traveling, exploring art, and dancing. I am very devoted to my hobbies, but even more I am devoted to my family and my profession - teaching ( and still learning!) biology. Also, I believe, I can be a very good tutor of Russian, my beloved native language. One of my carrier choice was linguistics, and I was preparing myself for this carrier. Even though I ended up as biologist, I still have my expertise in Russian language.
