I am a graduate student in the mechanical engineering program at Boston University. Through my education, I have developed a strong foundation in math. I was able complete the math portions of the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and GRE with a perfect score, making me well equipped to help students overcome their difficulties in mathematics.Before I entered graduate school, I moved to China and worked as an English language instructor at a college, where I taught over a hundred students. During this time, I was able to learn valuable teaching methods that have since helped me in teaching English as well as math.As a tutor, I believe it is important to be patient when looking for the underlying issues that cause a student to struggle. Through proper guidance, a good tutor will help his or her student apply the concepts he or she has learned, ensuring classroom success.In addition to a wide range of math, and English, I also help students prepare for the SAT, ACT, and GRE. In my spare time, I like to play soccer, practice the piano, and learn languages.
