Experience

I hated practicing law, and am now a journalist at WHYY. I love my job, but could use a bit of extra cash. At Georgetown Law, I was a section tutor responsible for tutoring all first year subjects. I helped dozens of 1Ls develop the efficient and effective study practices necessary to succeed in the highly competitive law school environment. I was also a subject tutor for ConLaw, Torts, Contracts and Property, helping students work through and understand complicated legal concepts. I have extensive editing experience. I've reviewed and revised dozens of admissions essays to graduate school on behalf of friends, who have gone on to some of the top law and business schools in the world. Passed Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar exams (first attempt on both) LSAT: 170 (98th percentile) SAT: 760 Verbal, 700 Math Cali Award for top exam, ConLaw I

Hobbies

I'm on the board of the Pen and Pencil Club, Philadelphia's press club. I've served on the boards of a handful of other nonprofit organizations in the past. I played rugby for over a decade, starting in college, and was president of the Penn Rugby Alumni association. I was captain and president of the Georgetown Law Rugby Football Club. I still occasionally get out on the pitch. In addition to my work at WHYY, I've also written for Slate, Philly Mag, City Paper and the Inquirer.
