I attended Northwestern University and am currently enrolled in a Philadelphia pharmacy school. I have a great deal of experience tutoring students in mathematics and science classes from elementary through high school levels. I also have experience tutoring undergraduates studying math and science at the college level. My areas of expertise include elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, algebra 3/4, geometry, trigonometry, and chemistry, as well as standardized test preparation for the ACT Aspire, Aspire Math, the PSAT Mathematics test, the SAT Mathematics test, and the SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 2. My approach to tutoring is determined by the needs of the individual student. I encourage students to learn from mistakes rather than fear them, since I believe that while there is usually a single correct answer in the fields of science and mathematics, allowing students to make mistakes and learn where and why they made the error encourages students to develop their own math and science skills more effectively.
