Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in Theater Activism from American University. Theater Activism is a combination of performance arts, government studies, and international peace and conflict resolution. I am currently pursuing an MFA in Movement-Based Ensemble Theater with a concentration in acrobatics. I have participated in a number of social justice performance projects both domestically and abroad as a writer, director, producer, and actor, so I bring a diverse range of experiences to tutoring! I have worked with students attending high school and college in subjects like algebra, geometry, reading, writing, biology, chemistry, and Mandarin Chinese, among many others. I am also happy to help students prepare for the PSAT and SAT, and can tutor IB Theater HL and SL. I like to get to know each student as an individual, since each student learns differently. I encourage my students to set short and long-term goals, and regularly check in on the progress we're making toward achieving each goal. I am an enthusiastic and creative tutor, and I hope to convey my passion for education to each of my students. In my spare time, I like reading fantasy novels, playing video games, studying astronomy, and camping.
