ExperienceWith nearly a decade of experience tutoring for the SAT, I specialize in helping smart, underachieving students reach their full potential. I take a small number of students every year so that I can focus on individualized instruction.
My most recent pupil improved 390 points from a 1710 to a 2100. I have never failed to raise a student's aggregate scores by at least 160 points, with my median boost over the past four years (after 3-6 months instruction per student) of 250 points. During the day, I run political campaigns and volunteer as a senior adviser to a national leadership training non-profit.

Barry worked with my son over the past 5 months, getting him ready for 2 separage SAT exams. His score went up from the first to the second by 130 points, going from the 50th percentile to amost the 75th. when gauged from the PSAT to now the increase was even more dramatic. Barry was patient and very clear in his work. I overheard their sessions almost very time and I could tell that his advice was always customized to what my son needed to hear. I highly recomend Barry. He was a considerate guest in my home and he raised the number of school options my son will enjoy enormously.
Barry is awesome! He explains concepts clearly and is very patient. I highly recommend him as a tutor. He is worth every penny.
