Hi, my name is Joe and I am looking forward to being your tutor. I love teaching subjects such as science, specifically biology. I have my Bachelor of Philosophy, but I did a brief stint as an evolutionary biology PH.D. student. However, I found out rather quickly that I enjoyed teaching biology more than doing the research. Since then, I have transferred my major to earning a high school biology teaching certificate. Science is hard, even if you have the experience I do with it. There are so many terms to memorize, esoteric terminology, and tough concepts. Even with the background in it that I have, it can be hard to grasp all of these things. I can use my expertise and learning techniques to help you tackle these complex concepts. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me gardening.
