I have been teaching for 5 years and I love being a classroom teacher as well as working one-on-one with students. I strongly believe all students can succeed in math and a good teacher help each students by addressing their unique needs. I've taught students with a wide range of skill levels in math, from Special Education to AP Calculus. My experience in Special Education allows me to identify specific learning strategies that will work for struggling students. Also, my expertise in math allows me to have a wide perspective on what is important in math and how students can focus their efforts to achieve specific goals. I love math and interacting with students! Every experience helps me learn and grow as a teacher and allows me to impact students' growth in a meaningful way. In particular I have taught or tutored the following classes: SAT Prep, Remedial Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Honors Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus

Hobbies
I love teaching and working one on one with students! I love math because there are so many ways to solve problems and every student contributes new and interesting ideas. Math is challenging but can also be fun. I look to find ways to make math enjoyable for my students. Additionally, I enjoy volunteering with my students. This year I led weekly service trips to Widener Memorial School where my students played games with students with physical and mental disabilities.
