Student-taught a kindergarten classroom in a D.C. charter school Staff writer for Georgetown University's student newspaper, The Hoya. Director of a student run coffee shop, part of the world's largest independent student run company. Although an English major, I have a passion for biology and health sciences, and have taken courses in these areas during my time at Georgetown. During my job application process, I was accepted into many elite teaching and tutoring programs (MATCH in Boston, KIPP DC) but ultimately decided that I needed more work experience in other fields before committing fully to the teaching profession. I am now working for an anti-hunger nonprofit at Drexel University, and I am hoping to continue embracing my passion for teaching and education through evening tutoring sessions in the Philadelphia area.
