SAT score- 1210 Previous experience: Junior Varsity Basketball Assist. Coach, Summer General counselor 2010, Art Directer/Teacher at Grier Summer Camps- 2 classes a day 6 days a week. Ages 7-17, Summer camp swim instructor and lifeguard 2010. YMCA Certified swim instructor,6-mo baby classes, all ages of children, and adult swimming mechanics classes. Also have experience working with Epileptic and Autistic individuals from the YMCA Certified YMCA Swim Instructor, Red Cross Oxygen Admin, CPR and AED, and First Aid 2011-12 I'm currently working through my Industrial Design class with highschool-age children to help develop tools for their benefit in an highschool environment. I would like to be a tutor because I'm experienced and comfortable communicating and teaching youth of all ages. I believe that a positive and strong role-model is important in a child's life. Tutoring usually is seen as negative to children and I would like to change that view of a tutor to a mentor who is there to answer any type of questions, stimulate their interest of the subject and open their mind to new ideas.
