I am a math and science tutor who offers high quality instruction and assistance tailored to the student's challenges and needs. I started tutoring because I like subject material, and I like the one-on-one interaction with students. I have tutored high school and college students for about 3 years. It has been a pleasure to see students master what was once difficult material and become self-confident moving forward. I am glad to have helped them. I have taken advanced university math courses including discrete math, linear algebra, calculus I-IV, differential equations, Fourier transforms, statistics, vector and complex analysis. Also, I have earned the Recognition of Excellence Award from Educational Testing Service for the high score I received on the Math Content Knowledge Test. In addition to my studies in math and science, I have explored the field of pedagogy by taking various education courses, such as diagnostic teaching, evaluation of instruction, and multimedia instructional design.
