Joseph B.
Private tutor in Philadelphia, PA
Education
I have a PhD from the University of Oxford (UK) in Animal Behavior and Animal Welfare
Experience
I am currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hunter College (CUNY), where I teach an 'Applied Animal Behavior and Welfare' course. My main subject of interest is animal behavior, however, I am available to tutor in a wide range of biology topics based on your needs. I enjoy taking complex science and making it applicable, relevant, and interesting for students. Biology is certainly a complex subject based on the many names, processes, and mechanisms that need to be understood. However, it is also the basis of life as we understand it, and so is directly relevant to our lives on a day-to-day basis. I can help connect the subjects taught with the students own experiences to help make learning more enjoyable.
