Experience
I've tutored for over 5 years and taught for over 4. In high school, I taught dance to elementary school students and drama to high school freshman for 2 years. I also assistant taught a Children's Beginner Musical Theatre class at a local regional theatre, where I was also an intern in the Education department. I taught drama both in a practical capacity (meaning we did scene work, improv, etc.) and in an academic capacity (meaning we studied theatre as an academic pursuit by reading about acting and theatre theorists, teachers, and actors). Solely I was responsible for crafting the year's curriculum and each class' lesson plan, and for teaching each class. Most importantly, however, I've been a student for my entire life. I know what it's like to be stuck on a tricky math problem, to not understand a certain Spanish conjugation, or to have writer's block on your English essay. My experience, having been in those situations and overcome, is what best helps me aid you as you find yourself in those situations right now.

Hobbies
I love all aspects of theatre and film, specifically acting and producing! I also love reading, writing (I'm an essayist!), travel, fashion, food, dance, and music. Though I've quit dance and singing since high school (so little time in college!), I still love going to see my friends perform. Additionally, I love Hispanic cultures; I wanted to minor in Hispanic Studies in college, but one student can only do so much! So far I've been to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, but I've studied many many more Hispanic cultures and I hope to travel to more countries in the near future!
