Experience
I have over ten years experience teaching and tutoring English and Spanish. I lived four years in Spain where I completed a Masters in Spanish as well as taught ESL and proctored exams for the University of Cambridge. I enjoy working with students of all ages to improve their writing, reading communicative competency in English and Spanish. I have experience teaching college writing and I also worked in writing centers so, I'm familiar with all the various styles such as MLA and APA. I have also been involved in college prep programs where I gave seminars on how to prepare college application essays. I minored in Journalism and would be willing to work with students in that area. I am really comfortable working with any writing assignments, research papers, theses, case studies, and all other forms of technical and creative writing. I welcome the opportunity to meet with students to come up with an effective plan of action for them to more successful in any of these areas.
