Experience

My name is Andy and I have been teaching for over six years now. Currently I'm a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania in Music Composition. I've taught primarily the SATs, as both a classroom instructor for Ivy Insiders (now a part of Revolution Prep) and a private tutor. I received a perfect score on my SATs, but more importantly I've raised my students scores by an average of 200 to 250 points. I've also done substantial tutoring in middle school and high school math as well as in English and writing. Recently, I have done much more ACT tutoring as a result of the change in the SAT. More students seem to be going with the ACT. I have raised ACT scores as many as 8 points. Typically I offer the first lesson free. This gives you an opportunity to see how I work and whether you feel I'll be a good match with either you or your child. If you don't see any reviews of my teaching, its because I'm new to the Philadelphia area. If you would like references I'll be more than happy to provide them for you.
