I recently graduated from Villanova University School of Law, and I have been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Before law school, I graduated from Florida State University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Film Studies.
Experience
My strongest skills as a tutor are in English and writing. During my undergraduate years, I worked as a tutor and helped college students write and edit their essays and papers. I perfected my writing skills in law school, during which time I had to write countless briefs and memorandums. I also worked as a teacher's assistant during college in a Film Essay workshop class. I have experience working with young children. I worked as a teacher's assistant for 3 years in a 3rd grade class. I worked individually with students and provided support for the teacher for 1-2 hours every weekday. I coached youth basketball teams (ages 10-12 and 14-16) for four years. I enjoy tutoring because I understand the academic difficulties that many students face, and I feel a sense of fulfillment when I know I have done something to help them overcome challenges and hopefully reduce their stress level in the process.
