Tutored 2 hours a week in high school and amassed over 100 hours. I have had a lot of experience both being a tutor and being tutored. I like tutoring because I am able to transfer my passion for various subjects to someone else. Seeing an idea "click" in a student's head is the best feeling because you know that your wording and presentation helped to make that possible. I think math is one of the most important subjects we learn in school and it is unfairly complained about. I especially want to help students learn to appreciate math and all of its applications. Spanish is my other main area of study, and I think that is extremely important as well because learning another language opens up the possibility of communicating with a whole new group of people.
