I have a B.A. Psychology/Sociology at Lycoming College and a M.Ed in Special Education from Arcadia University.
Experience
I have worked with children with special needs since 2004 - first as a behavioral health worker and now as a special education teacher. I have over 6 years experience teaching students between Kindergarten and 8th grade. Some of these children required positive behavioral support systems that I created and implemented in the classroom. All of the children I have worked with have struggled in math and/or reading, and I was able to help many of them make impressive gains. In addition to my teaching experience, I also worked for a private tutoring company from 2009-2012. I stopped tutoring when I had my son and now would love to start again!
