Experience

I am a practicing scientist (chemist) with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have worked both independently as well as with a professional tutoring organization. I am particularly good with math and science, everything from subject tutoring to test preparation and general studying concepts, academic coaching and essay reviews. I LOVE tutoring because I am very gifted with helping others understand material that may be difficult to comprehend initially. All of the students who I have tutored in the past have done exceptionally well on tests and in the course as a whole after being tutored by me. I have taken many college-level science and math courses including: General chemistry I and II (with Labs), Organic Chemistry I and II (with Labs), Analytical Chemistry (with Labs), Mass Spectrometry, Analytical Separations, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry (with Lab), Physical Chemistry I and II (with Lab), Chemical Kinetics, Polymer Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I, II and III. I frequently travel internationally to present scientific research and participate in chemistry conferences, including the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. One of my research papers has been referenced in TIME Magazine.
