Education
I was the salutatorian at Mallard Creek High School and am currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. I was a straight-A student for all of middle and high school and am continuing this through college.
Experience
I am fluent in Spanish. I love working one-on-one with students and helping them understand the value of knowing math, science, and good reading/writing skills. I took 13 AP classes in high school and scored 4s and 5 on all the AP examinations. Scored 2160 on ACT, 33 on ACT. I have tutored many students and helped them all improve their grades and study habits. My students have been: -Two 1st graders from Highland Creek Elementary school, who I helped go from a kindergarten reading level to a second grade reading level over the course of a summer. -One 2nd grader who I tutored in math. Went from kindergarten math level to on-grade level. -An 8th grader from South Charlotte Middle School. Last year she had a C/D average, this year she has all As and 1 B. -A 7th grader from Waddell Middle, who had a D/F average and has raised that to a B average. -A 6th grader from Waddell Middle who was failing Language Arts and now has a B. -A 4th grader who needed help understanding grammar and sentence structure and is now writing/reading on grade level.
