I have, collectively, about 10 years of tutoring experience - on the collegiate, high school, and elementary levels. I can explain topics in an organized way that analyze the study matter from different perspectives; an asset for many students in need of tutoring. Usually they have a hard time understanding the method or style in which the teacher teaches. By figuring out how the student learns and comprehends, you can manipulate the teaching techniques in order for them to successfully absorb the material. I truly enjoy working with people- especially kids. I am the kind of person that gets satisfaction from helping others; this is simply my personality, I naturally help out whenever I see someone in need. I have taken several science courses and did very well. From Biology I and II with labs (finishing with an A+), Chemistry, and Physics. I was completing my Bachelor degree with a Math and History minor, but I was one class shy upon graduation. So, I finished my Bachelor degree with a major in Community and Regional Planning - a degree that demanded an array of math courses. I have taken, Algebra, Finite math, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Geometry - finishing all courses with a B+ or better. I completed Architecture History I and II, American History I and II, Foreign Policy I and II, British History I and II, Women's Literature in History, and Geography. I have written content and code (creating the actual module) for an eLearning company that provided training material for financial institutions world-wide. I was recognized in college for a paper I had written. It was published in an English magazine.
