Education

I attended the State University of New York at Geneseo majoring in both Childhood and Special Education. I then went on the further my education at the University of Pennsylvania as a graduate student in the Reading/Writing/Literacy program where I obtained my degree as a Reading Specialist K-12.

Experience

I am currently in my second year of teaching Kindergarten in the Philadelphia area. I have had experience working with the Title 1 program tutoring a small group of second graders for the past two years. Additionally, I spent my summer working as a reading coach in the Springboard Collaborative program prepping incoming kindergarteners with emergent reading skills.
