I'm attending Haverford College to earn my certificate as a secondary school teacher. My mother was a teacher, so education has always been a large part of my life. I've had several opportunities to get experience in teaching and learn about the craft, and those experiences served to fortify my desire to help others learn. Along the way, I've recognized that every student learns in their own unique way. In the classroom, it's very difficult to accommodate this. As a tutor however, I focus on the needs and learning style of each student that I work with to help them learn in the most effective way possible. For this reason, I believe tutoring is an exceptionally important endeavor. I have studied education to learn about the ways to help students learn better, and I'm excited to apply my knowledge to help students realize their full academic potential and achieve success. Outside of education, I enjoy dancing, reading, going for hikes, and swimming.
