I have two years of experience tutoring students in a variety of topics, but my specialties are physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and algebra. I tutor students who were not native speakers, and I've been able to work with them successfully. When I tutor a student, I focus on taking complex concepts and explaining the components, building a picture for the student of the whole so they understand how everything is connected. This helps students understand and retain information. Many of my students have really like this way of tutoring, but I also adapt my approach whenever necessary based on the needs of the student. I attended The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey for my bachelor's degree in biology, and I earned at a chemistry minor, along with concentrations in art and philosophy. I'm well-rounded, and I look forward to helping students experience success.
