When I tutor students, I like to build them up to help them understand that there are important learners. When students feel like they are valuable, they are more likely to be successful in their learning and motivated to learn more. Eventually this will lead to students who can contribute to society and to consider themselves lifelong learners. I believe every student can learn, and it's up to myself as a tutor to teach students in the way they respond to best. I like to work with students and environment that encourages open communication so that students can ask questions and not be afraid to get wrong answers. I also like to bring a sense of humor to my sessions, keep things light, and have some fun along the way. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in essay writing and editing, English grammar and syntax, literature, phonics, reading, writing, history, government, social studies, and other related classes the beginning and advanced levels. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, creative writing, music, singing, playing music, visiting museum, and art.
