Education

Connecticut College - BA, Chemistry

Experience

I graduated from Connecticut College with an American Chemical Society certified degree in Chemistry. After this, I chose to further my education with a doctorate degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Temple University. I entered this program a couple of years ago, and, since this time, I have been a teacher in various General Chemistry courses. From this experience, I have expanded my knowledge, gained insights, and developed my teaching style further. To help my students stay focused and more interested in learning what I am conveying, I try make the atmosphere and material fun to learn. This also helps the individual feel more relaxed and open to requesting assistance. As a student myself, I came to realize that the educators I gained the best and most knowledge from were entertaining as well as theatrical. I enjoy creating this type of experience with each student I teach and tutor.I love to delve into experimenting with laboratory tests and research. And, of course, I love teaching. In addition to these things, you will find me creating music, biking, climbing rocks, and gardening.
