Experience
I am a tutor with over a decade of teaching experience. I can help students with their writing, grammar, anthropology, history, philosophy, psychology, religious studies, sociology, social studies, English, and a variety of other subjects. I received my degrees at Valley Forge Christian College and Temple University. I have been teaching and tutoring now for fifteen years, and I have had an excellent success rate with the students I work with. I am a patient and sensitive tutor. It is a privilege to guide students along the path to academic success. I believe that every person is capable of succeeding, no matter how significant their struggle is, with a little bit of help. I will help students hone their writing skills, develop more effective study strategies, and I can offer them organization and note taking tips. While I love helping students who struggle in a subject to overcome their obstacles, I'm also available to work with gifted students who are just seeking a bit of a challenge. When I'm not teaching or tutoring I am very actively involved in my community. I serve as my neighborhood's community organizer. I also spend a lot of time with my young daughters. I love to be outdoors, and you will often find me working in my garden.
