I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. My work there had a strong emphasis on writing, chemistry, and English. Throughout my collegiate career I tutored fellow students in chemistry at the Penn Tutoring Center. While I am certainly most passionate about the sciences I have a diverse background and am comfortable teaching most core subjects. I now work as a clinical research coordinator for the University of Pennsylvania's Abramson Cancer Center during the day and tutor at night and on weekends.As a tutor one of my primary goals is to teach all of my students how to become more effective learners. I enjoy working with high school and college students with class assignments and test preparation. Some of the courses I tutor include biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, reading, writing, essay writing and editing, literature, grammar and mechanics, AP coursework, genetics, inorganic chemistry, science, and English. Some of the standardized tests I help students prepare for include the SAT, HSPT, MCAT, SSAT, and ISEE.When I'm not tutoring or pursuing my own educational goals I enjoy music, personal fitness, spending time in nature, singing, playing guitar, cooking, and biking.
