Experience
I began tutoring in college, leading to a career as a high school teacher. I taught physics, science, and chemistry. During my career, I worked with a variety of students and learned to tailor my teaching style to how each student learns best. I went above and beyond for my students by creating personalized academic plans, and I love to create these plans for all students I now tutor. I work to make learning enjoyable for my students, because I believe that many bright students struggle with subjects that they simply find boring. Bringing fun into the learning process can tremendously help them. I also love to work with students with knowledge deficiencies, and find leading them to academic success very rewarding. My great success in high school studies earned me a full scholarship to the Ohio State University. There, I earned my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering while also studying Entrepreneurship. After college, I joined Teach for America and spent several years helping children in Atlanta progress in their academics. After spending many years teaching high school students, I decided to go back to college at the University of Pennsylvania to work on an MBA. Aside from teaching, I also enjoy staying physically fit by playing basketball and hitting the gym. I also enjoy catching a great movie or concert.
