Experience
Throughout my undergraduate career I gained extensive mentoring and tutoring experience as a Resident Assistant, Co-Vice president of the Health Professions Organization, mentor to high school students, and tutor at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Excellence at the university. I double-majored in biology and philosophy at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, where I also completed a minor in biochemistry and a concentration in nutrition. I am currently at Drexel University in Philadelphia working on a Master of Public Health. When I am not studying or tutoring, I enjoy reading, crafting, running, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.I am committed to getting to know each of my students as an individual and helping them to meet their goals. I want to instill in them a desire to ask deep questions and seek out the answers to those questions. I love tutoring biology and chemistry, and my philosophy studies have led me to enjoy both critical reading and writing. I am available to tutor students in many subject areas including mathematics, natural sciences, English, study skills, and test preparation.
