Experience

While I have no professional experience tutoring, I have always helped friends when they needed help. I also was a successful student and did well on my ACT, SAT and GRE. I took all APs for history in high school and took a refresher math course in college. I am currently getting my masters in mental health counseling. I was a psychology undergrad and in one of my classes we talked about effective learning styles which I think gives me an advantage when it comes to tutoring. I also understand cognitive development and can cater lesson plans to be most effective.
