University of Pennsylvania - BS, Finance, Operations & Information Management

I am currently attending the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate student, where I'm in my final year of my degree program. My areas of study are operations and information management, as well as finance. In addition to pursuing my undergraduate degree, I am also taking an active role on campus as an executive board member of one of the largest service groups in the area. In this capacity, I have spent a lot of my time tutoring elementary and middle school students in math, writing, and reading. I also am in charge of an online writing course that teaches young students how to write stories and essays that are well structured and eloquent. One of my favorite parts of being a tutor is helping students learn the skills they need to carry them throughout their academic and professional careers. For this reason, I especially like tutoring math because it's a subject that we encounter every day. I believe that a good tutor is patient and eager to work one-on-one with struggling students to help them overcome their challenges and learn material in a way that works best for them. Outside of education, I also enjoy going to new museums, playing the piano, and dancing.
