I am a retired high school math, science, and computer teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience. I have taught every level of secondary mathematics from arithmetic to pre-calculus. Hobbies
I greatly enjoy teaching. I find it just as satisfying to explain borrowing in subtraction to a 3rd grader as I do to explain a geometric proof to a 10th grader. The challenge is the same AND so is the satisfaction of doing it. One of my favorite examples is showing students why you need a common denominator to add fractions but NOT to multiply fractions. I am extremely patient with my students and I encourage them to ask questions.
