I believe in showing students how to problem solve and think critically on their own, so that they can handle future troublesome situations. I believe that real success comes when students work through a problem and are able to find solutions using their own resourcefulness and knack for reasoning. I love to teach Algebra because I feel it has real-world applications that allow students to realize how the subject applies to their personal lives. I have been a math teacher for over eight years, and I have taught all high school Math subjects.I am available to work with students in Algebra 1-4, Geometry, Middle School Math, Precalculus, Pre-Algebra, and Test Prep, including the ACT and SAT Math tests.I earned my bachelor's degree in Geography from Penn State University at University Park. While working as a teacher, I was able to attend St. Joe's University, where I earned my M.S. in Mathematics Education. When I am not busy working, I love to travel to different places, and I have been privileged enough to visit five continents! When I'm not globe trotting, I love to settle in with a good book and relax.
