Experience
I have been a very successful tutor and mentor for elementary to high school students for the past 8 years. In college I received A's in courses such as General Chemistry, Intro Biology, Physics, Biochemistry, Calculus, and Statistics. I was am currently a medical student, which I consider to be a testament to my dedication to academics. I have personally used tutors myself in many of my classes. With that being said, I personally understand how important a tutor can be to a student's success. These tutors pushed me that extra mile and I hope to do the same. I looked up to many of my tutors because they also served as important mentors and friends. I approach my tutoring sessions in the same supportive way with the hope that my students will continue to push forward knowing that what lies ahead can be accomplished successfully.

Hobbies
I grew up in Orange County and played baseball and soccer through high school. In college I raced on the school's cycling team, and was eventually selected as the captain for my junior and senior seasons. I continue to train and race with a local team here. I am a firm believer that balance is key to physical and mental well-being. It was important for me to do well in the classroom, but it was also important for me to find what I loved to do outside of the classroom and pursue it to the highest level possible. I emphasize the importance of that balance to my students.
