I am a recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in European History. I am now enrolled at Temple University where I am working towards my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. I love having the opportunity to work with students of all ages.I have experience teaching analytical reading and writing to first year university students. I also have helped high school students better their writing and develop a greater understanding in algebra. Furthermore, I have helped middle school students improve the study skills needed to complete homework assignments.I have a wealth of experience teaching, both formally and informally. Along with tutoring students through a university outreach program, I taught classes at my church, and I babysat for ten years. I teach a number of subjects, including standardized test prep, reading and writing, literature, grammar, American and European history, world history, and geography. Along with helping students prepare for the SAT, ACT, and GRE, I am able to assist them in writing college essays. Of all the subjects I teach, I love history, writing, and reading the most.I currently work as an editor for my university's online magazine. When I am outside of academia, I enjoy writing, reading, and doing yoga.
