Currently preparing to enter a PhD program in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. I have previously taught at a classroom level in Italy (teaching English) and in Malawi (teaching malaria epidemiology, social and behavioral aspects of health among other subjects to adult Americans and Malawians). The past two years I have been working in a remote area of PNG and therefore, combined with my other experiences, I am well versed on teaching across cultures. Relevant classes I have taken include entomology, immunology, virology, epidemiology, Italian language, social and behavioral aspects of global health, helminthology and protozoology. Even if it is not listed, feel free to inquire about a public health or biology related course! I am in pursuit of an academic career and love sharing my passion for these subjects with others!
