Experience: I am a T.A. for a physics course at Drexel University. This includes teaching 2 recitation sections and one lab. I also hold office ours for general physics help. I have also tutored underclassmen in introductory physics courses as part of the ATTIC program at Lafayette College. Test Scores: I took the SAT's as a high school junior and I received a total score of 2250 (out of 2400) with a 790 (out of 800) on the Math Section. I also took a number of AP tests and received scores of 5 (out of 5) on the following tests: Calculus AB, Physics B, and Statistics. Coursework: I have completed a physics major which required me to cover math through Calculus 3 and Differential Equations. I have also had extensive classes in undergraduate physics including: Electricity and Magnetism, Classical Mechanics, Modern Physics (General and Special Relativity), Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, and Biophysics. Other Accomplishments: I received a Marquis Scholarship to attend Lafayette College which was based on previous academic performance and provided $20,000 towards tuition. I was inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma physics honors society. I graduated Cum Laude with Honors in Physics for completing a senior thesis. Although I am very proud of all these accomplishments, I am also proud of my ability to communicate math and science with a younger audience. I love working with kids and seeing the wonder students express at new concepts and, more importantly, the relief when they begin to understand and do the work for themselves.

Hobbies
I am a very interested in math and science but I also have a multitude of other diverse interests. My main hobby is music; I am a piano player and singer and I love to make music in all genres. I play and sing in a blues/rock band but I also occasionally play jazz piano. My other main interests include hockey, rugby, and musical theater. I am always willing and excited to meet new people and willing to discuss anything from quantum physics to taylor swift (not a huge fan, but I'll talk about her).
