Experience
I believe that education is invaluable, and everyone should have access to it. I am an avid learner myself, and I want my tutoring students to learn to love their own education. I have a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech. in hospital business, with two minors: French and Microbiology. As a tutor, I very much enjoy tutoring the two languages that I am fluent in, French and Spanish, and I also enjoy working with students on science courses and business. I have many years of experience working as a tutor, starting with becoming a volunteer with an underrepresented community's high school students. I worked with this group to help them reach their education goals and become leaders in their community. While in college, I also worked in my school's athletics department to help tutor the student athletes in their course work so they could maintain their grade point average. Outside of working as a tutor, which I deeply enjoy, I am a graduate student, working toward a master's degree at Drexel U. After receiving my master's, I plan to apply to medical school. I have also been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, building houses, and I have to admit, I love working with power tools!
