Previous Experience: Tutored a 2nd grader in Math during the Summer (2014), Tutored a Freshman in High School in Algebra during the Summer (2014). Tennis instructor for students ages 5-16 (Summer 2011). Scores: SAT: 2200 (Math: 800, Verbal: 730, Writing: 670) MCAT: 33 (12 Physical, 11 Verbal, 10 Biology) AP Tests: Physics B+C (4s), Statistics (4), AB Calculus (4), Government and Politics (5) I am drawn to tutoring because I like to learn, and I enjoy explaining my favorite topics to other people! I LOVE any type of puzzle because it tests your ability to think in more ways than just one. Tutoring is like a puzzle; all students learn in a slightly different way, and finding the best method for learning a topic is essential to grasping the material. For example, I am a visual learner. It doesn't matter how many times someone verbally explains something to me, I need to see a visual representation of the material or else it doesn't click for me. I really enjoy talking with other people and I have always been a burst of energy, so together we will try to have the most enjoyable, relaxing tutoring session we can, while learning the material with a method that works best for you! I have taken all Pre-med science courses including 3 Physics with Calculus, 2 Chemistry classes, 2 Organic Chemistry Classes with Lab, Intro to Biology, Biochem (and Biochem in Medical School), Physiology (also undergrad and medical school), along with Math up until Calculus 2 in undergrad.
