Experience
I enjoy tutoring students of all ages, from elementary school children to college students. I have tutored middle school and high school students in Science and several Math subjects, including Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Basic Math. I have a strong academic history that started in high school where I graduated in the top ten percent of my class. I then attended Rutgers University where I majored in Biology and Psychology, and graduated cum laude with highest honors. I then took classes towards a master's degree at UMDNJ. I was a Biology teaching assistant when attending Rutgers, and I am a volunteer Sunday School teacher at my church. I like to first find out how a new student of mine learns, and I then tailor my teaching style to suit his or her individual needs. I always like to make learning fun for my students and help them develop the same passion for learning that I have. It is important for me that a student I tutor learns the material I am teaching and doesn't just memorize facts or notes. Learning is not memorizing, but it is instead truly grasping the concepts or understanding the strategies I am teaching. I have boundless energy, and when not using it to tutor, I love to paint and knit.
