I am a highly specialized tutor in mathematics with over 6 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I absolutely love teaching and have taught thousands of students in both the large classroom (300+ students), small-group (2-5 students), and one-on-one settings. From 5th grade basic mathematics, to 7th and 8th grade and high school Algebra, to college-level Calculus, I've used my unique method of teaching students how to dissect and reorganize problems into a structure that is quickly understandable and solved to complete success. My first experience in teaching was when I was an after-school tutor at a charter school serving underprivileged children in my hometown area in South Florida. I loved it so much, I went on to become a Supplemental Instruction Lecturer at my undergraduate institution at Florida Atlantic University where I held supplemental help lectures for 300+ students. I then decided to take tutoring a step further and started a non-profit tutoring organization that held sessions for struggling college students and high schoolers in our local area that could not afford help. Currently, I am a dental student at the University of Pennsylvania and still practicing my unending passion for tutoring in my free time.
