Private tutor in Philadelphia, PA
I attend Temple University as a Junior undergraduate double major in Physics and Computer Science with a 3.6 GPA. I hope to one day do research in Quantum Computing (ask if you're curious) and other theoretical physics. My anticipated undergraduate graduation date is May 2017.
I have been tutoring for the physics department at Temple University for 2 semesters. I was also a teaching assistant in a university martial arts class for 2 years, during which I intermittently helped with a children's Aikido class at the Doshinkan Aikido school in Philadelphia where we taught children between the ages of 5 and 18. These experiences have enriched my life and given me an appreciation for tutoring/teaching as an excellent means of not only helping others learn, but learning myself. I have taken Calculus 1-3 and introductory physics courses. I have also taken Classical Mechanics, Mathematical Physics, Introduction to Modern Physics, Data Structures(Java II), Programming Design & Abstraction(Java I), Discrete Mathematics and many others.

I started tutoring 2 semesters ago and fell in love with it. I sincerely enjoy communicating concepts to curious or distressed students and aim at making the subjects intuitive. It is my belief that anybody can do the subjects I tutor when they are presented in the right language. I am passionate about guitar and have been playing for over 8 years. I also practice Aikido, a Japanese martial art that focuses on using your opponents energy against them, rather than confronting their strength. In my spare time I read and play video games, as well as go out.
