L&M is a premier test prep company for students of all needs. The company is comprised of two highly qualified teachers. Lauren was valedictorian of her graduating class at Jackson Memorial High School. While there, she scored a 5 on numerous AP exams, including AP English Literature and AP Language and Composition. Always an avid reader and writer, she received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Lauren is currently pursuing her Master's of Education with PreK-4 teaching certification at Cabrini College. Maria received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Drexel University. She went on to complete graduate coursework at Rutgers University and is currently a doctoral student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.
Experience
When taking the test in high school, Lauren scored an 800 on Reading section and a 790 on the Writing. Since then, Lauren has dedicated much of her time preparing other students for the test. She has over six years of experience tutoring for the SAT/ACT. Her passion for this area and her vast knowledge of best teaching practices have resulted in great gains for her students. She is dedicated to providing an individualized and rigorous program for each student. Lauren currently tutors students, both privately and through an established learning center. She also teaches in the Upper Merion Area School District. Most recently, Lauren co-founded L&M Test Prep. Maria has been tutoring math and science for 7 years. When taking the SAT in high school, she received an 800 on the Math section of the SAT and a 790 on the MATH II SAT subject test. More recently, she scored an 800 on the Math section of the GRE. In addition to her rigorous coursework and experience teaching high schoolers, she has 2 years of experience being a teaching assistant at the undergraduate level. With her latest endeavor, the co-founding of L&M Test Prep, Maria hopes to reach more students and help them achieve their goals.

Hobbies
Lauren and Maria met through their common love of dance in college. Years later they decided to pursue another joint passion of theirs: education. Both have excelled in rigorous programs of study, including those at the University of Pennsylvania. They love to learn and to share their love of learning with others. Since their individual strengths complement each other so well, it was only natural for them to team up and start a business together.
