University of Pennsylvania - Post-Baccalaureate, Liberal and Professional Studies , Pomona College - BA, Africana Studies

I attended the University of Pennsylvania and Pomona College. While I am based out of Pennsylvania, I have also lived in California and Brazil. I love to teach English and math, but I also love furthering my own studies in social science and history. I am able to help students better their skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, elementary school math, and arithmetic. I am also able to assist students in composing essays, improving their reading and writing skills, and preparing for the SAT. I love being able to work with young adults, where I can help them make the transition from high school to university. It is my goal to help prepare my students for success. When I am not busy tutoring, I like to read and cook. My other hobby is entertaining, which I do through improv comedy performances and playing my cello. My other interests include dancing, literature, poetry, history, theater, and sports.
