Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Catholic University of America. My degree is in English lit with a minor in French and Francophone studies. I am a fluent French speaker. I am a Phi Beta Kappa and studied abroad in Nantes, France. I also received honors in classical philosophy, and was the editor in chief of my schools magazine, CRUX. My writing has been published in CRUX and in Fringe Festival.
Experience
Passed my English comprehensive exams with honors and both my Senior Theses, one about Faulkner's use of black characters, and another about color theory in Robert Penn Warren, got an A. I have a translation internship this fall in Paris, but need to make some money over the summer to fund it, and thought that tutoring would be a good way to do that. I have tutored briefly before.
