I'm a dedicated, patient and methodical tutor, who strongly believes that anything - particularly school math and computer skills - can be taught if presented effectively and that anyone can learn if one has the will. My knowledge in the subjects I offer stems from my college and graduate school education in engineering, as well as my work in the fields of research and development and IT. I developed my approach to teaching, which emphasizes both understanding of principles (why we do what we do) and mastering of techniques (how to consistently get the right result), through numerous sessions as a tutor -starting with my baby sister, who, bless her, set high standards in terms of student stubborness - university teaching assistant, and instructor in user trainings as part of my job. One of my favorite quotes is the Chinese proverb "When planning for a year, plant corn. When planning for a decade, plant trees. When planning for life, train and educate people," and I therefore look forwarding to helping you, your daughter or son.
