I attended Temple University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math. This subject is one of my life's greatest pleasures. I enjoy sharing my zest for mathematics with others who are blind to its wonders. I am a capable and well-equipped tutor of high school through college math, but I primarily excel in pre-calculus and linear algebra. There is a huge misconception that math must be difficult and is not to be enjoyed. However, I feel it is my responsibility to change that mindset because it is not the truth. The formulas are just the tip of the iceberg. Every solution comes with a theory and those theories must be understood in order to obtain the fullest understanding of the subject matter. You can't simply plug numbers into an equation without knowing where the equation came from. For those who are more right-brained, think of it as quoting Shakespeare without knowing the meaning behind the words.In the end, I want total academic success for everyone I work with, but I also would like to share something more with my students. I hope to spread my love and enthusiasm among my pupils so that they leave not only understanding the material but also recognizing the true majestic nature of the subject.
