Experience

Patient and encouraging, I am a great tutor because I engage students and have experience. I have lived/worked in France, Japan, and Jordan and taught classes of up to 40 students. As a tutor, I have worked with individuals and also groups of up to 4 people. I have worked with kids in preschool up to adults with a range of abilities. My work experience varies as well; I've helped students with special needs and those in a highly competitive Japanese high school. The needs of the individual come first and I can craft my style accordingly.I teach any subject but my specialty is standardized test preparation (GRE, SAT, ACCUPLACER, ACT, etc.) and English as a Second Language. Reading, writing, public speaking, French, and math are areas I can help a great deal in. I attended the University of Colorado - Boulder and am currently studying at King's College London. From Evergreen, Colorado, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and improving on my foreign language skills in my free time.
